We create brave work in

Fremantle

A refuge of culture and creativity.

Fremantle is a little refuge of culture and creativity among the sprawling burbs of Greater Perth.

The historic port city is a magnet to artists, entertainers and culture-makers, so we just had to open our doors here.

The fact that we’re not in the corporate heart of the state gives us a valuable outsider’s perspective. It reminds us to question convention and come at every brief with a ‘Do less advertising’ approach.

As a result, we’ve become known as a feisty and disruptive force within the industry, consistently upsetting and outperforming the establishment agencies.

We tend to attract clients who’d rather outsmart than outspend. They share our view that while dollars buy eyeballs, only creativity wins hearts.

Here’s a taste of our Freo work…

WORK

2017

&Partners is born

Bryan Dennis joins Dav Tabeshfar to establish &Partners; a boutique creative shop in Fremantle, Western Australia. The agency started out with a collection of progressive clients who wanted big agency thinking without big agency layers. Many of those clients are still with us today.

2019

Campaign Brief Challenger Agency of the Year

We’ve always punched well above our weight when it comes to awards and accolades, but in 2019, we punched even harder, taking out Campaign Brief’s WA Challenger Agency of the Year award.

2021

We officially joined civilized society

After 4 years of working from sofas, cafes and park benches, we decided it was time to put down some roots. We moved into the 1902-built Manning Building, overlooking the eclectic and eccentric centre of Fremantle - amongst the cafes, pubs, book shops, boutiques and restaurants.

2023

Merge with kwpx

We called our agency &Partners for a reason and in 2023, kwpx came along and slotted neatly in front of the ‘&’. Becoming kwpx&partners took us from an agency of 4 to being part of a national network of collaborating agencies with complementary capabilities. Clients still enjoy the efficiencies of working with a nimble boutique, but now they have access to some of Australia’s finest strategy, media and digital minds.

2024

Best of Show… and a whole lot more.

The PADC Awards celebrate the best of commercial creativity in Western Australia and in 2024, the best of commercial creativity was kwpx&partners. We took home Best of Show for our WA Police Union campaign, along with another two golds, a silver, four bronzes and the Copywriter of the Year award.

2025

New leadership

We’ve been lucky enough to attract the incredible Georgie Frampton to our Freo family. As Executive Director, Georgie will lead our growth strategy and keep us connected to the needs of modern marketers.

2025

KWP+Partners

The x is dead. In 2025 we launch our new name, new brand, new website and new focus.
